Semaglutide- $350/month

Semaglutide, is a Glucagon-like Peptide-1 (GLP-1) receptor agonist.

Contraindications include family or personal history of medullary thyroid carcinoma, multiple endocrine neoplasia syndrome (Type 2), hypersensitivity, kidney disease, and history of pancreatitis.

Side effects can include nausea which is common but short lived.

Suppresses the appetite
Delays gastric emptying causing you to feel full longer
Stimulates insulin secretion by the pancreas
Lowers HbA1C
Decreases body fat percentage

Semaglutide, is a once per week injection.

Semaglutide is not often covered by insurance. However, we can have a compound pharmacy provide you the medication at an affordable option.

Plan: 2 visits the first month, including your comprehensive initial consultation followed by 1 visit every month thereafter. Also included are blood work prior to initiation and repeat blood work at 2 months. Includes individualized dietary planning and exercise regimen planning.

TIRZEPATIDE PLUS- $550/month

Tirzepatide is another once weekly injectionable GLP1-RA and GIP RA that has proven extremely effective against the obesity battle.

Tirzepatide is compounded by a specialty pharmacy and shipped to your door. The medication is also compounded with B12 to help increase energy and aid in weight loss.

Tirzepatide is in the same class of medications as Semaglutide, and works by by increasing Leptin, a satiety hormone, that helps us feel full and stay full longer. It mimics a hormone called glucagon-like peptide-1 (GLP-1) that targets areas of the brain that regulate appetite and food intake. It also regulates insulin and blood sugar imbalance, which is a common cause of difficulty in losing weight.

Studies have shown: “The mean percentage change in weight….was −15.0% with 5-mg weekly doses of tirzepatide, −19.5% with 10-mg doses, and −3.1% with placebo.”

PHENTERMINE $120/month

Phentermine is a daily oral medication FDA approved for weight loss. It is a norepinephrine uptake inhibitor that works as an appetite suppressant, limiting how many calories you eat. Over time, this can lead to weight loss.

Medications, when used in conjunction with eating a well-balanced, reduced-calorie diet and regular exercise are incredibly helpful in achieving one’s weight loss goals.

Contraindications for Phentermine use are uncontrolled high blood pressure, glaucoma, diabetes, hyperthyroidism, psychotic disorder, alcoholism, history of heart attack or angina/chest pain.

Side effects include increased heart rate, headache, dry mouth, nervousness, constipation, and a tingling sensation in the hands or feet but the medication is generally well tolerated.

Plan: 2 visits the first month, including your comprehensive initial consultation followed by 1 visit every month thereafter. Medication refills sent monthly. Includes individualized dietary planning and exercise regimen planning.

WHAT IS BELLA?

NALTREXONE AND BUPROPION: A PROVEN COMBINATION FOR WEIGHT LOSS

Naltrexone is an opioid receptor agonist, and bupropion is a dopamine and norepinephrine reuptake inhibitor. This combination has been prescribed for years to enhance weight management efforts in overweight or obese adults. Together these two medications activate a part of the brain that controls hunger.

OXYTOCIN REDUCES CRAVINGS AND INCREASES SATIETY

Animal studies have revealed that oxytocin reduces the desire for food intake, increases energy expenditure, and increases fat breakdown. In people, it decreases cravings for high-calorie foods and increases satiety. Studies show that oxytocin levels decrease with age.

Oxytocin is also integral to the stress response. It dampens the brain’s response to stress, reducing anxiety.

Researchers discovered that restoring oxytocin levels also boosted the activity of muscle stem cells, potentially increasing calorie-burning muscle cells.

METFORMIN AND TOPIRAMATE CONTROL BLOOD SUGAR

Following your initial comprehensive weight loss consultation with custom weight loss planning, you receive either weekly or biweekly lipotropic injections as well as monthly follow up appointments to track your progress and make adjustments to your plan.
